Well friends and family, the holiday weekend marks the unofficial end of the summer. Bill's parents came up for the holiday. We had a really pleasant time, relatively low key.
Saturday we went for a walk. We visited the new coffe shop down the block fro the house and took a walk around Lake Harriet. It was hot but there was a lovely breeze. On the way home fro the lake we were very surprised as we encountered a wild turkey. Thats right folks A WILD TURKEY - in the city! I know we were by the lake but it's not like Lake Harriet is surrounded by wooded areas...
