Field trip and Pictures!
In April Collins Preschool class went on a "field trip" to Lunds. Collin had a dentist appointment that morning and Karole wasn't busy so she stayed to help out. It was a good thing she had the camera so she could take some pictures.
The list.
Getting ready to go.
Were at Lunds shopping.
Falling asleep at lunch, again.
Gee, how many close ups of this boy do we have?

Trip to Wisconsin Rapids
We recently went to Wisconsin Rapids for Cousin Brad and Joleen's wedding. It was down on Friday night, the wedding and reception on Saturday and the gift opening and home on Sunday.
Collin traveled well as usual, He had fun at the orange moose in Black river falls and he wanted to talk to the giant mouse.

Great News
Among the many events in December was Collin's early intervention evaluation. As he hit his third birthday, it was time for another set of tests to address his cognative, social, communication and gross motor skills development. As most of you know, Collin has been in a special program since he was 9 months old with home school. His bilateral club feet and vision issues resulted in a developmental delay. With the help a a team of dedicated anad fabulous teacher, we all worked on helping Collin reach his age appropriate milestones.
We are proud to say that Collin has done so well, that his test score for this evaluation actually made him inelligible for continued home school. Collin is now on par with his peers.
We are so grateful to Anne, Shari, Sandy, Libby and Chris is giving us the tools and time to help Collin achieve this monumental goal.

Christmas!
Lets face it December is ALL ABOUT Christmas. The boys had a great time. Faythe and Al were here and we enjoyed a breif visit with Austin and his friend Anne. We did the usual, Christmas Eve dinner with Faythe Al, Karla, Freddie, April and Austin. Early Christmas morning was at the Law's for the Kelly family opening. Then back to our house for our Anstedt opening. Ofcourse nap time then dinner back with the Law's.
The rest of the holiday was pretty mild but we also were fotunate to enjoy breakfast with the Cravers on Saturday.
A New Holiday Tradition
As we mentioned December kept the family busy. On the 20th we hosted a holiday open house with a small twist. Inspired by my company holiday card that was about "filling 150 spaces" (blood banks, donation bins, minds, time etc.) We asked guests to bring donoation items for the Emergency Food Shelf. Though there was a huge snow storm many joined us, others that couldn't make it, stopped by to make a contribution in the week after. We were able to donate over 8 large bags of groceries.
