Catching Up Once Again

Good Morning Friends,

It's that time again when we update you on the adventures of Collin! So much is going on and he is changing and growing so much everyday!

Let's start with the most recent developments.

Over this past weekend we made preparations for the Halloween Holiday. We received Collin's costume we ordered in the mail on Friday. He is going to be a Rhino. Papa and Mama are going to be Zoo keepers. We are very excited. On Sunday we bagan to decorate the house. We made a Rock N Roll Scarecrow and Papa is building Gravestones! At the end of each Halloween season we buy clearance stuff to add to the next years decorations.

Collin is teething someting feirce. Papa and Mama have been spending nights holding and comforting Collin sleeping on the couch or in a chair. We think that Collin will actually get 4 teeth at once this time, we can feel them under his gums when he chews our fingers. (Oh course we will post pictures when they pop out.)

Collin loves all of his books and we read almost everynight. He loves his board books that Aunt Veronica gave him. We would have to say that one of his favorites is the First Rhymes and Brown Bear Brown Bear. He is learning to turn the pages, as well as chew the corners.

Ofcourse Collin is now eating LOTS of solid food. He loves EVERYTHING. We are so proud that he loves fruit and veggies. He is not only eating baby food but also trying grown up foods like red bean and rice, chicken, pork tenderloin, mandarin oranges, yougurt, cheese, goldfish crackers, the list goes on. Miss Vicky and Miss Pearl his daycare providers saiy that even after lunch Collin wants to have whatever they are eating! We are proud that his appetite is big now and he is catching up to where he should be for his age.

Due to his club feet Collin is a little behind in some of his developmental landmarks, but he is catching up fast. He works with a physical and occupational therapist every week and we are please to say he is sitting up and playing like a champ. He is trying to crawl but finds that rolling around gets him to his destimation faster.

We have som pictures to post in addition to this. Remember you can e-mail Mama and Papa directly if you need immediate Collin updates. We need to be better about calling writing and spreading the love, but we find we spend a lot of our sparetime rolling around with Collin on the floor and playing!
