Morning Commute

As everyone knows this was my first full week at work. Our current day care shedule has BIll dropping the baby off Monday through Thursday and I pick him up. It has been realatively easy to get back in the swing of things. This can be attributed to the fact that Bill drops Collin off. This allows me to go to the gym and get into work no later than 8:30, 8:45AM.

This morning was great. We woke up at 6AM and Collin ate. He was very smiley. We sang and talked. I took a shower and Collin came in so I could wash him up, he loved it. I got ou t of the house at about 8:20 no problem, I could make it to work well before 9AM. I was driving along in silence, thinking about how other moms do it, like my co-worker Stacy who has 3 kids 6 and under. I got on the highway and was 3/4 of the way to work before I realized that I forgot to drop the baby off at daycare. He was asleep so I completely forgot he was in the car......

It was really funny, I ended up late for work but everyone understood. Someone told me that they have a freind whose husband has to call her to make sure she takes the kids out of the car to bring them to daycare.....So it could have been worse....
