All About Collin

Collin came into the world without incident on Monday December 5th. It was great, I loved being pregnant despite the heinous morning sickness.

Unfortunatley, he has a high billirubin level so we were back in the hospital and in the NICU the day after we came home. We are grateful to the staff of Children's hospital in Minneapolis. They were great. Though Collin's issues were routine, Moma was a mess. We were able to stay at the hospital. He had superb care. It was scary. When we first got in, they were saying he might need a blood transfusion since the level was so high. We were there for four days before we could go home.

We were home for two days before we were sent to the hospital again for the same thing. Little boys billirubin shot back up. Now Collin was admitted to Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Another GREAT staff. this time he did not have to have an IV but we were ther for another 4 days. Finally on Friday December 17th we were able to go home for good.

Every day is something fun.
